Michael Goodman
Michael began taking pictures as his high school’s photographer in West Texas and has continued ever since. Over the years, his images have been published in books, calendars, music albums and on the web. He resides now in Exeter, NH and has won numerous awards for his photography. His work has been shown overseas as well as in the New England area in juried exhibitions and local galleries. Michael was president of the Boston Camera Club, one of America’s oldest photographic societies, is a current member of the Greater Lynn Photographic Association, Gateway Camera Club, Seacoast Camera Club as well as the Massachusetts Camera Naturalists -CamNats, an invitation only wildlife photographer’s association. He has judged International Photographic Exhibitions as well as at camera clubs throughout the region. While largely self-taught, he had the privilege to study with Galen Rowell, renowned outdoor photographer, in Berkeley California. Besides teaching photography, Michael frequently delivers multi-media photographic shows -his favorite activity at photographic conferences including the annual New England Camera Club Council-NECCC where he is a Master member-MNEC and the Cape Cod Click Photography Conference using images he has taken from his extensive travels around the world.
